Mandaluyong City, Philippines — May 28, 2026 — SysNet / ParkNcharge proudly announces a series of pioneering achievements in the Philippines’ electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure and e-mobility sector. In April 2022, during the Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), SysNet / ParkNcharge showcased the country’s first Filipino-made demonstration of a fully commercialized EV Charging Station equipped with e-wallet payment using the Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP).
This event marked a significant milestone, featuring the debut of the first Filipino-developed mobile app with a booking system integrated into the OCPP Charge Point Management System (CPMS) at the MIAS Changan booth. This groundbreaking demonstration has paved the way for future innovations, including e-wallet integration, advanced booking features, QR and web access control, SMS notifications, overstaying management, OCPI data sharing for roaming, and Voice AI Customer Support capabilities.
In addition, SysNet / ParkNcharge’s leadership in the industry was further recognized when the Pioneer Highlands EV Charging Station in Mandaluyong received official certification from the Electric Vehicle Industry Development Act (EVIDA) Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) in October 2022. As the first EVCS in the Philippines to be registered and accredited by the Energy Utilization Management Bureau (EUMB) under the Department of Energy (DoE), the Pioneer Highlands station stands as a historic milestone, marking the beginning of nationwide registration and regulation of EV charging stations.

SysNet / ParkNcharge has also been instrumental in promoting the adoption of OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface) for seamless data sharing and interoperability among EV charging stations, contributing to the development of a connected e-mobility ecosystem in the Philippines.
Today, SysNet remains committed to expanding EV infrastructure through strategic partnerships, aiming to meet the growing demands of the country’s e-mobility market. As the most open CPMS platform in the Philippines, SysNet / ParkNcharge’s cloud-based system can connect to all OCPP-certified EVSEs, enabling a versatile and scalable charging network.
With over 60,000 registered EVs and fewer than 2,000 charging points nationwide, the Philippines continues to work towards achieving the global standard ratio of 1:10 charge points per EV. SysNet / ParkNcharge envisions a future where interconnected EVSEs and accessible charging infrastructure will drive the adoption of electric mobility for all Filipinos.
